Thanks for the feedback. I have the Creator version, but yes, I can try to build something up with a pen.

Here is what our digitizer suggests:
I recommend using the Artwork tools to create the “guidelines”.
For example, you could use the rectangle tool to draw the 25mm guideline.

Guidelines in Templates

Hello,
I mainly work with embroidery on narrow fabrics (polyester webbing 25 mm), and it is convenient for me to use guidelines. Each millimeter really matters to me. However, when I upload *.PFX files in Template Wizard, the guidelines disappear after generation. Could you please advise if it is not possible in DG16 to retain the guidelines as an essential part of the template? If not, is it possible to add this feature to DG17?
Additionally, do you have any other recommendations regarding embroidery on narrow woven fabrics - recipe, any other strategies etc? If there are any instructional videos available, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

DG/ML Version 14 Support Coming to an End
Tajima SoftwareAdministrator Posts: 468
|
With the upcoming release of DG17, DG/ML Version 14 will no longer be an officially supported product and will no longer be available for download. This means that you will not be able to contact Tajima Software or your local distributor for software support. It also means that you will not be able to add options like LAN licenses and fonts to your DG/ML Version 14 software. Contact your local distributor to update to DG17 and take advantage of all the new features and enhancements!

Hello, The start page in DG16 offers training videos. However, when I click on it, it always gives me the error below. How can this be fixed?

Thank you for the feedback.
The Vertex Tool with Ctrl+Left click works for me. Is there any keyboard combination for adding Anchor points?

Cut a hole / Adjustments to True fonts

Thank you for your feedback; however, it doesn't give me the result I need (please see the picture below). I have a square (Tatami pattern), and I need to cut out a circle inside or any other figure. Is this the correct way to achieve it?

@dluxedivegear
To create Satin or Fill stitches with holes: 1 In the Digitizing toolbar, click the Complex Fill tool. 2 In the Pattern list, select a Satin type or a Fill pattern. 3 Left-click to punch the segment. 4 Press O to complete the outside of the segment. 5 Continue clicking inside the segment to punch where you want the holes. Press O again to complete the inside of the segment.

Tip: Toggling between Anchor point types There is a quick way to convert between different types of anchor points, without using the context menu. To do this, select a segment using the Vertex Select tool. Then, hold down the Ctrl key while right-clicking on the point you want to change. The type of anchor point that results from this change depends on the initial anchor point type, in the following manner:
| · - Smooth points change to Straight points. | | · -Straight, Cusp, and Symmetric points change to Smooth points. |

We have recently switched from Wilcom to DG16, and I have different questions. 1) What does +/- mean in angle lines on the ends? 2) Which complex fill is preferred for flag designs in the small size of 20x30 mm max? 3) Can EMB files made in Wilcom 4.5 be opened in DG16?

How to prevent deformation on the cap?
roman@galax.skPosts: 8

I embroider on caps. So far I have only made irregular shapes and logos. Now customers want a square on the sewing machine. And I found that there are deformations of the shape? Instead of a square, he embroiders a trapezoid. I am attaching the photos. , can it be needed somehow by software or do I have to hard deform the square? edited by roman@galax.sk on 3/28/2024
