Files grouping colors in new version

In this new version 16.5.4.7675, I am running Maestro. I am having issues with the thread colors displaying right and changing them.
In the attached image the 2 elements in the Sequence view with the neon green highlight line each of these is multi colors they are not grouped in the file. It shows them all as color 1 and if I try and change anything in any of those segments everything in that block changes instantly to all needle one. I cannot spend the time to keep recoloring all the designs as I set them for production... I changed back to the last Beta version I was running on 16 as it has less glitches and problems than the previous release did for me.
